Build Your Own Classroom Tools with AI

Describe the tool your class needs, build it with AI, and take it home working.

About the course

This course is not about writing better prompts. You use AI to build working classroom tools yourself, without knowing how to code. You describe what your learners need in plain language, the AI writes the software, and you test it, correct it and publish it.

By Saturday each participant aims to have at least one tool of their own running at its own web address, ready for their learners: a quiz, a vocabulary game, an interactive worksheet, a simulation or a small class website. Along the way you learn what AI does well, where it fails, and how to check its work before learners see it.

The course is taught by Josip Sobin, Jantar’s CEO. In 2026, working with AI, he built eight websites for Jantar and Amber IT and moved Amber School Manager, a school management system, to new technology.

Who it is for

Teachers of any subject and level, librarians and ICT coordinators who want to make their own digital materials. No programming experience is needed.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • describe a classroom tool clearly enough for an AI to build it
  • build, test and improve quizzes, games, interactive worksheets and simple web pages with AI, without writing code by hand
  • publish a tool on its own web address and share it with learners and colleagues
  • check AI-made tools for errors, accessibility and age-appropriate content before learners use them
  • check whether a tool collects learners’ data and fits GDPR and school rules
  • show colleagues at their own school how to make their own tools

A six-day structured course (30 hours) at Jantar – International House Split, Croatia, in which teachers use generative AI to build their own digital learning materials without programming. Participants turn teaching needs into clear specifications, build and test interactive quizzes, games, worksheets and simple web pages with AI tools, check them for accuracy, accessibility and data protection, and publish them for their learners. The course is hands-on, ends with each participant presenting a working tool and a plan for their school, and supports the priority of digital transformation.
