About the course

This course gives language teachers the pedagogical, technical and methodological skills to use virtual reality meaningfully in language teaching. Participants explore how immersive virtual environments can support communicative language learning.

Through hands-on practice, reflection and lesson design, teachers learn to select, adapt and create VR-based activities in line with the CEFR and their curriculum.

Who it is for

Teachers of foreign languages (any language) and language-school managers.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • understand the pedagogical value of VR for language learning
  • use and adapt virtual learning environments for different levels and contexts
  • design VR-based language tasks
  • integrate VR activities into existing curricula and lesson plans
  • run collaborative and problem-solving tasks in virtual environments
