About the course

This course is for teachers who want to build a student-centred classroom. It focuses on strong teacher–learner relationships and a positive atmosphere that supports cooperation, engagement and curiosity.

We work with task-based learning, the flipped classroom, storytelling and games, and look at feedback, rapport and difficult behaviour from the learner’s side.

Who it is for

Teachers of any subject and level, from primary school to adult education.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • encourage and motivate learners to take part
  • create a safe, cooperative and supportive classroom
  • use storytelling, game-based learning and task-based activities to build positive attitudes
  • exchange experiences with colleagues
  • apply and adapt the ideas in their own professional context
